Abstract
Perineal hernia formation is an infrequent but well-recognized complication of major pelvic surgery. Various methods of perineal reconstruction have been reported. This report describes one technique of perineal hernia repair using a unilateral gracilis myocutaneous flap. The gracilis myocutaneous flap provides well-vascularized tissue that is useful in many situations requiring reconstruction of the pelvis and perineum, especially when the area has been irradiated.Entities:
