Abstract
We presented our results with silicone oil in vitreoretinal surgery in pediatric patients. The retinas reattached in 58% but corneal opacification occurred in 75% and glaucoma in 25%. Our results indicate that silicone oil should be considered in otherwise hopeless cases of retinal detachment surgery in children.Entities:
