Abstract
Squamous cell carcinoma of the supraglottic larynx is treated primarily by conservation surgery or radiotherapy for early to moderately advanced lesions, and total laryngectomy, with or without irradiation, for advanced tumors. This article reviews the role of radiotherapy, used alone or in combination with surgery, for squamous cell carcinoma of the supraglottic larynx. Treatment philosophy, techniques, and results from the University of Florida are emphasized.Entities:
