Abstract

A novel pentaosyl serine; GalNAcalpha(1--4)GlcAbeta(1--3)Galbeta(1--3)Galbeta (1--4)Xylbeta(1--3)Ser (2), a putative intermediate of chondroitin sulfate and/or heparan sulfate biosynthesis, was synthesized.
