Abstract
A feeding-tube gastrostomy technique used in dogs and cats has been adapted to the rabbit. A detailed description of the percutaneous, incisionless placement of a gastrostomy tube using a gastroscope is presented. Management of the feeding tube and the formulation of a liquid diet for rabbits also are described. The percutaneous endoscopical gastrostomy (PEG) tube was used successfully to administer enteral nutritional support to the rabbit.Entities:
