Abstract
Phlebotomous argentipes, the vector of Kala-azar was found susceptible to DDT and found to reappear in the nine months after one time DDT spray at the rate of lg/m2 in three endemic foci of districts North and South 24-Parganas of West Bengal. Ph. papatasi, the other predominant species found resistant to DDT appeared within one month of DDT spray.Entities:
