Abstract
Two groups of patients with coronary artery disease who differed in level of cardiac vagal control were compared in their cardiovascular responses to psychological stress. Patients with lower vagal control manifested increased reactions in diastolic blood pressure and rate-pressure product to mental stress and tended to have greater systemic vasoconstriction.Entities:
