Abstract
A total of 51 dogs in two different protocols each had their pericardial fluid tested for pH value. The pH values were compared with the primary diagnoses to determine if pH value is an effective discriminator between benign and neoplastic causes of pericardial effusion (PE). A high correlation appears to exist.Entities:
