Abstract
A method for cytochemical detection of zinc in peripheral blood granulocytes with selective reaction of 8-(p-toluenesulfonyl amino)-quinoline was developed. Zinc levels in granular leukocytes were found reduced in chronic myeloleukemia and elevated in leukemoid reactions. The method may be used for the differential diagnosis of these diseases.Entities:
