Abstract
A case of hepatobiliary cystadenoma with mesenchymal stroma is documented in which unequivocal immunostaining for progesterone receptors was observed in mesenchymal cells. These cells were negative for oestrogen receptor. This suggests that the proliferation of the stromal component may be related to the presence of endogenous progesterone.Entities:
