Abstract
Members of the Pax gene family are expressed in various tissues during ontogenesis. Evidence for their crucial role in morphogenesis, organogenesis, cell differentiation and oncogenesis is provided by rodent mutants and human diseases. Additionally, recent experimental in vivo and in vitro approaches have led to the identification of molecules that interact with Pax proteins.Entities:
