Abstract
The ectomesenchymal chondromyxoid tumor of the anterior tongue (ECT) is a recently described entity of the anterior dorsum of the tongue. The lesion is histologically characterized by a lobular proliferation of ovoid and fusiform cells, which often have multilobulated nuclei and occasional foci of atypia in a chondromyxoid background. We report a case of ECT with a discussion on the differential diagnosis and pathogenesis.Entities:
