Fractures of the phalanges of the hand.

Abstract

A retrospective study has been made of 100 unselected adult finger fractures and a smaller group of similar injuries in children. The principles of treatment are reviewed, a simple practical classification of finger fractures suggested, and the treatment of each type described.
