Abstract
Since initially being described in 1980, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) has had a dramatic impact on enteral access and alimentation techniques. Knowledge of the problems makes it possible to lower the complication rate of this method. We report a case of partial penetration of the gastric wall by the internal bolster of the tube. We focus on the prevention, recognition, and management of this PEG-related problem.Entities:
