Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome associated with spontaneous pregnancy.

A Ayhan1, Z S Tuncer, A T Aksu.

Abstract

A case of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) associated with spontaneous pregnancy is reported with the hope of facilitating earlier recognition of this condition. Although OHSS is usually an iatrogenic complication, it can also occur spontaneously without any evidence of endocrinological disorder. Surgery was performed and induced a very rapid resolution of ovarian hyperstimulation.
