Abstract
We describe the case of a 69-year-old male with a year-long history of renal failure. Investigation revealed proliferative glomerulonephritis, cryoglobulinemia, and Q fever endocarditis. Renal tissue examination for the presence of Coxiella burnetii was positive. The patient was treated by doxycycline and chloroquine; his clinical status, renal failure, and chronic Q fever have dramatically improved.Entities:
