DNA typing of fingerprint reagent treated biological stains.

C Stein1, S H Kyeck, C Henssge.

Abstract

DNA profiling was performed on bloodstains and saliva on various supports after treatment with commonly used reagents for developing latent fingerprints. The results showed no effect of investigated dactyloscopic methods on DNA typing compared with untreated samples.
