Abstract
Musculoskeletal radiology has been transformed with the advent of magnetic resonance imaging. Magnetic resonance imaging provides visualization of the complex anatomy of the wrist and delineation of numerous pathologic processes, which are difficult to visualize with conventional imaging modalities. With the use of sophisticated pulse sequences and a dedicated extremity coil, magnetic resonance imaging allows evaluation of osseous and ligamentous injuries, arthritides, tumors, and tumor-like conditions. Magnetic resonance imaging techniques will be emphasized and anatomy and various pathologic conditions pertaining to the wrist will be reviewed.Entities:
