Abstract
The juvenile mouse is used as screening model to test feed additives for their potentially ergotropic effects. Weight development in 20-day old mice was found to be much more strongly influenced than in animals being 25 to 30 days old. The antibiotic lambdamycin inhibited weight gain in female mice, whilst males were promoted in weight development following lambdamycin application.Entities:
