C Bain1, J V Mackel.

Abstract

Fractures involving the distal femoral epiphysis are rare. They generally occur either at birth or between 11 and 15 years of age. This case report describes a 10-week-old infant with a Salter-Harris group I fracture displaced posteriorly. Recommended management is also described.
