Abstract
Multiple schwannomas may occur as visible tumors or may occur as tumors in situ. The tumors in situ may be missed when the visible tumors are excised. In time, the schwannomas in situ grow and appear to be recurrent, while in fact, they are multicentric. The prognosis on multicentric schwannomas thus remains guarded.Entities:
