Interpretation of studies on adverse drug reactions.

R R Miller.

Abstract

The findings of the Boston Collaborative Drug Surveillance Program on the toxicity of drugs are summarized, and the methodologies of this and other epidemiological drug monitoring programs are defended. It is concluded that the currently available data on adverse drug reactions provide a reasonably complete and clear picture of the "ADR problem".
