Abstract
By letting adults with acute hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection answer an anonymous questionnaire covering risks associated with the acquisition and further transmission of HBV infection, we found that a likely relevant transmission route could be identified in most patients. Despite being informed of the diagnosis, 50% of the patients exposed others via sexual contact during their contagious period.Entities:
