Abstract
Pectoralis tendon avulsion is a rare injury typically occurring in skeletally mature men. The diagnosis can be difficult to make and is often delayed. We report a case of a complete bony avulsion of the pectoralis tendon at the site of its humeral insertion in a skeletally immature male. The palpable and radiographic evidence of ossification at the injury site made the diagnosis in this adolescent case uniquely obvious.Entities:
