Abstract
We describe a patient with congenital hypertrophy of the retinal pigment epithelium (CHRPE) in the macular area of the right eye. The patient had no ocular complaints. Only relative central scotoma and a tritan opic defect were demonstrated in the affected eye, suggesting that CHRPE in the macula had hardly affected the function of the cones in the diseased area.Entities:
