Abstract
EF-hand proteins undergo conformational changes upon binding of Ca2+. This event is a crucial step in many Ca2+-dependent cellular processes. Recent advances in the three-dimensional structural analysis of various EF-hand proteins have led to new insights into the structure and functional relationship of this large family of Ca2+-binding proteins.Entities:
