Abstract
There are a growing number of clinical indications for the use of antithrombotic, anticoagulant, and thrombolytic agents. Clinicians must recognize that these patients require multidisciplinary treatment and coordination of care, and an assessment of the patient's level of anticoagulation is imperative to ensure values that may preclude problematic bleeding during dental procedures, yet maintain therapeutic anticoagulation.Entities:
