Abstract
One hundred and twenty-eight children, admitted for active treatment of ganglia around the wrist, hand, ankle or foot are reviewed. The methods of treatment are discussed. The most satisfactory results were obtained by excision (7-2% recurrence) and incision with a tenotome (11% recurrence). The overall recurrence rate was 19%. The ganglia around the wrist had the highest rate of recurrence.Entities:
