Today, the world-wide Internet offers a variety of radiological information that can be accessed via modem by every PC user. The available data supplement and extend the information from current sources (books, periodicals, etc.) with continuously updated information for all areas of medical interest. Current radiological applications are already established for training and review purposes. In the future, the Internet will offer extensive databases that can be accessed at any time. Despite the fact that quality-control aspects of the data offered have not been addressed, Internet already provides an enormous gain in information resources.
