Abstract
Primers were developed to allow the rapid and reliable assay of heat shock transcriptional factors 1 and 2 in human epidermoid A431 cells by following the protocol described in this study. Using the primers, the heat-induced increase in heat shock transcriptional factor 1 but not 2 was observed. This is the first report to show that heat shock increases the mRNA amount of HSF1 with no changes in HSF2 mRNA.Entities:
