Abstract
Structures resembling apicomplexan micropores were found by transmission electron microscopy in in vitro-cultured and in in vivo forms of the parasitic dinoflagellate Hematodinium sp. from crustacean hosts. Uptake of colloidal gold indicated a cytostomal function for the micropores.Entities:
