Abstract
Arthropod-borne viruses are important causes of diseases of the central nervous system. In addition to the tick-borne encephalitis viruses, other arboviruses in Europe are known to cause neurological disorders. Among them are West Nile, California group, Bhanja, Erve, Kemerovo group, Eyach, and Thogoto viruses. The ecologies and epidemiologies of these viruses are presented and their medical importance as travel-related diseases is discussed.Entities:
