Abstract
Menorrhagia may sometimes represent psychological problems. A frequent gynaecological response to this complaint is surgery. More recently, psychological factors and accurate assessment of menstrual loss have called into question the need for hysterectomy in a proportion of women. Endometrial ablation offers a less invasive alternative to hysterectomy which may result in a better psychological outcome.Entities:
