Abstract
A percutaneous gastrostomy (PG) was complicated by gastric wall dissection and partial tube malposition. It occurred after tangential puncture along the greater curvature of the stomach which was performed in order to avoid an enlarged left lobe of the liver. To prevent this complication we recommend not using hydrophilic guidewires during PG.Entities:
