Abstract
A checklist is presented to assist with the evaluation of a controlled trial in migraine prophylaxis. The following points are discussed briefly: aim of the study, design of the study, efficacy parameters, and presentation of results and statistics. Choice among drugs for migraine prophylaxis is described taking into account: clinical efficacy, scientific proof for efficacy, and contraindications.Entities:
