[Spontaneous corneal perforation and conjunctival molluscum contagiosum in a AIDS patient].

Abstract

A case of spontaneous corneal perforation occurred in a 32 year-old patient with AIDS who presented eyelid and conjunctival molluscum contagiosum. The mechanism of this perforation was discussed in light of data found in the literature. The rarety, severity and difficulty in diagnosing molluscum contagiosum are emphasized.
