Abstract
The treatment of the patient with a failed total hip replacement has become an ever increasing problem. The incidence and aetiology of failure, and its clinical presentation, are reviewed. The planning and performance of complex revision surgery, including the use of modern bone grafting techniques and specialist implants, are outlined. Postoperative rehabilitation, current research and predictions for the future are also discussed.Entities:
