Predictors of caregiver health strain.

K C Mastrian, R C Ritter.

Abstract

Home care nurses work with family caregivers daily. Measuring the strain involved in the role of adult children as caregivers for their elderly family members at home is the basis of this study. Results identify the decline in health reported by caregivers and give the home healthcare nurse guidance in developing interventions for the important population.
