Abstract
A child with compression ischemia of a segment of the liver is described. Such an insult may cause insignificant early abdominal findings and serious delay in the diagnosis may follow. An unusual colonization of the ischemic liver with Salmonella organisms caused sepsis, leading to the patient's demise.Entities:
