Abstract
Chromosome analysis of a moderately mentally retarded female revealed a 47,XX,+G? karyotype. Giemsa-trypsin banding showed the extra chromosome to be a deleted chromosome 15 (47,XX,+15q-). This case points out the importance of cytogenetic studies in moderately retarded individuals without significant physical anomalies.Entities:
