Abstract
We present a case of primary brain tumor demonstrating increased uptake of 99mTc-ECD. Astrocytoma (Grade II) showed significantly increased cerebral blood perfusion on dynamic images and homogeneously increased uptake on static images with 99mTc-ECD brain SPECT. There seems to be some difference in perfusion and mechanism of tumor uptake among the cerebral blood flow imaging agents (99mTc-ECD, 99mTc-HMPAO and [123I]-IMP) and 201TI-chloride.Entities:
