Abstract
Sequence-tagged sites (STSs) were developed for the human alpha-tropomyosin gene TPM4. One STS was used to amplify DNA from somatic cell hybrids to localize TPM4 to chromosome 19. The other, a product from a long-range PCR, was used directly as a probe to refine the localization of TPM4 to 19p13.1 by fluorescence in situ hybridization to metaphase chromosome spreads.Entities:
