Intermittent claudication in premenopausal women. A correlation with the long-term use of oral contraceptives?

T J Van Vroonhoven.

Abstract

A group of 15 premenopausal women with intermittent claudication is presented. A uniform clinical and angiographic picture was found. A causative relationship of this early and very localized form of arteriosclerosis and the longterm use of oral contraceptive agents is suggested.
