Abstract
This paper gives a short account of the mechanisms regulating choline production. Although choline is absorbed from the GI tract and biosynthesized in the liver, its subsequent metabolism to choline esters and phospholipids seems to dominate in importance as to its regulatory role in maintaining a constant source of free choline extracellularly.Entities:
