In quest of outcomes: the Larimer Project.

Abstract

This article illustrates Larimer County Mental Health Center's response to the intensifying demand for mental healthcare organizations to develop treatment outcome evaluation systems. It describes the integration of the Target Complaints Assessment (TCA) procedure into the everyday clinical assessment and treatment processes of the organization. The article delineates the development of the procedure's practical application and its usefulness as a feedback mechanism to senior management and line clinicians.
