Abstract
Congenital posterior urethral polyps are an uncommon but well-described disease process known to cause hematuria or bladder outlet obstruction in boys. Conventional treatment has included transurethral resection or open cystotomy for complete removal of the polyp. We report the first use of the neodymium:yttrium-aluminum-garnet laser for endoscopic excision of a posterior urethral polyp in a 3-year-old boy.Entities:
