Abstract
The use of conventional graft fabric for the bifurcated Chuter endovascular graft may result in a kink instability since crimping has been removed. Especially in elongated arteries that are frequently found with aortic aneurysms this may cause stenosis of the kinked graft and subsequent thrombosis. Bilateral stabilisation of the graft limbs along its total length proved sufficient to stabilise the graft thus preventing secondary thrombosis.Entities:
