Abstract
The differential diagnosis of compressive neuropathies in the arms includes syndromes involving the nerve roots and brachial plexus, as well as the peripheral nerves. Often these conditions coexist. Nerve conduction velocity studies as well as electromyography have a role along with the clinical evaluation in differentiating these conditions. Limitations in routine electrodiagnostic testing are present, which necessitate several specialized techniques for identifying compressive neuropathies.Entities:
