Abstract
The case of a 26-year-old woman with an intraventricular meningioma presenting with visual symptoms is discussed. Preoperative imaging included magnetic resonance angiography, with a high correlation with conventional angiography. The patient underwent microsurgical removal of the lesion by combined transtemporal and transparietal approaches, with intraoperative ultrasound and balloon dilation of operative corridors. There was postoperative improvement of the visual fields. The operative technique will be discussed and compared with the other methods published.Entities:
