Abstract
A sample of 208 consecutive admissions to the Hospital for Tropical Diseases was screened for psychiatric illness. A psychiatric morbidity of 31-8% was found. If severe personality disorders are included in the figures then the overall psychiatric morbidity rises to 49-6%. The reasons for these findings are discussed.Entities:
